Tarrytown

The campus is located in a little village 45 minutes north of Manhattan. Connected by the Metro North. The village exceeded my expectations a lot and I got to love the parks, restaurants, bars and atmosphere that the charming village provided.

The Village

Tarrytown is such a charming little village in a lot of ways. It has a lot of cool restaurants and bars with super nice atmosphere. People were nice and helpful and surprisingly enjoyed the international students even though they only visit for a short period of time.

Campus is located on the top of a hill so the view was amazing and it also made campus visible everywhere you went in Tarrytown.

My favorite place...

The train station that would take you to the intensive Manhattan was right next to the Hudson River. But if you went on the other side of the tracks the at the Tarrytown station you got to the Tarrytown River Park. A place that quickly became one of my all time favorite places in New York. The park had an amazing vibe and from the park you could see the New York City skyline in the horizon. In September I went to the park multiple times for picnicking or just to enjoy the sun and the weather.
